HEAD RISK MANAGEMENT (ENTERPRISE-WIDE RISK MANAGEMENT) Job Summary: Reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer, the Head Risk Management is responsible for objectively driving the Enterprise-Wide Risk Management (ERM) framework in the Bank and also providing leadership and direction to the Unit with the aim of enhancing the Bank’s operational risk management by maintaining operational risk exposure within acceptable parameters in line with best practices. Job Specifications: • A minimum of a second upper first degree from a recognized university in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics and Sciences with a relevant Master’s degree and professional qualifications as added advantages; • A minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience in a senior position in a commercial banking or DFI environment performing demonstrable operational risk management functions with ability to analyse risk issues; • Demonstrated understating of enterprise wide risk management concepts and robust ability to analyse and interpret risk based issues and incidents; • Familiarity and experience with operational risk management tolls and risk metric reports; • Demonstrated experience of performing operational risk framework (risk identification, assessment), RCSA, Basel II etc; • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment, manage dynamic priorities, strong professional independence, unquestionable integrity and able to work under pressure to deliver on strict deadlines with minimal supervision; • Results oriented individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
