Searching with a purpose Are you constantly struggling to fit into listed requirements of recruiting firms, or does your job search involve targeting companies that march your career goals and values? The latter, career advisers say, should be your approach. You don’t want to land a job you will wish you never took after only a year or less. Avoid oversleeping That you have not found a job to wake up to does not mean you should be getting out of bed at 10am. Surprise opportunities do arise occasionally, and you don’t want to be caught half-asleep when someone calls at 9am to discuss an employment possibility.
