44 | Transition Fair Thee Well Martin It is with profound sorrow and shock that we announce the sudden death of Prof. Martin Kinoti Mbarabari. On Sunday 5th January 2014, Prof. Martin Kinoti answered his Lords call and went to be with his God. Prof. Kinoti was the youngest of twelve children of the late Senior Chief Stanley M’Murithi Mbarabari and Grace Kangai M’Murithi of Kibirichia location Meru Kenya. Born October` 19th 1962, Martin received his Primary and Secondary schooling at Kibirichia Primary and Secondary schools. In 1986 he moved to the U.S.A. and settled in Dale, South Carolina. Martin pursued his higher Education and received his Associate Degree at Technical College of the Lowcountry, Bachelor’s Degree from Limestone College, Masters Degree from Webster University and his Doctorate Degree (Ph.D.) from the University of Phoenix all in U.S.A. At the time of his demise Martin was an Associate Professor in Business Studies at Claflin University in U.S.A. Kinoti was preceded in death by a sister Elizabeth Mparu and a brother Washington Mwongera. He is survived by seven brothers: Gedion Mugambi, Abraham Kirima, Prof. Jacob Nteere, Peter Mbaabu, Dr. Isaac M’Murithi, Dr. Ezekiel Mbarabari and Benjamin Ngaku. Two sisters; Evangeline Marete and Martha Nkatha. Martin was an uncle to many: Dr. Bundi Kireru, Kimathi,Lydia, Mutuma, Frida, Virginia, Leslie, Gatobu, Kirimi, Kibua, Mwiti, Karimi and many more. Kinoti you left us too soon, but your God wanted you sooner. Remain forever in our hearts. May God rest your soul in Internal Peace.
