46 | Property Guide DAILY NATION Thursday February 6, 2014 FOR SALE BY TENDER: PRIME DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITY, NAIROBI The Embassy of the Republic of Poland invites tender bids for the purchase of the Property situated on Kabarnet Road known as LR number 209/2683 (the “Property”) in Kilimani. The Property is owned by the State Treasury of the Government of the Republic of Poland (the “Vendor”). The Property is 1.489 acres and has a built up area of approximately 14,040 square feet. It consists of an office block, a residence, servant quarters and car port. The User of the Property is Residential, as described in the Title. The Title is a leasehold tenure for a term of 99 years from 1st April 1941. Tenders must be submitted in accordance with the Rules of the Tender Process and in sealed envelopes bearing the correct tender name (as above). A bank guaranteed cheque for KShs. 500,000 made out to Embassy of Poland must accompany each tender. In the event that a tender is accepted by the Vendor but reneged upon by the person or institution making the tender offer, the Vendor will retain the KShs. 500,000. All persons or institutions whose tenders are rejected by the Vendor will be refunded the KShs. 500,000 paid by them. Tenders should be deposited in the Tender Box at the Knight Frank office in Nairobi and must be received by 12 noon on February 14th 25th 2014. Tenders will be opened on February 2014 at 10.00 at the Knight Frank office in Nairobi in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend. Each prospective bidder shall indicate in their sealed envelope the amount of the proposed bid for the Property. The minimum price acceptable for the Property is Kshs. 235,000,000/=. Tender packs containing the Rules of the Tender Process, copy of the Title and other related documents are available from Knight Frank @ Kshs. 4,000 per pack. The Vendor at its sole and absolute discretion reserves the right to accept or reject any bid without having to provide any reasons for the same.
