DAILY NATION Monday February 17, 2014 Death and Funeral Announcement It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Antony Gichuki Njogu of Buru Buru Phase One on 12th February 2014. Son of Patrick Njogu Mwai (Formally of Police HQ) and Marysusan Wangui Njogu (Formally Caltex Oil Ltd). Father of Leinsly Angela Waigwe Gichuki of Kambui Girls High School. Brother of Crispin Mithamo (Citizen TV), the late Angela Gathoni, Andrew Mwai (Moscow), Alfred Kimuri (Computer Pride), Jeanette Wangari (KAFP) and Sharon Wamuyu. Brother-inlaw of Joseph Wangendo (Bloodlink Foundation) and Grace Wangari. Uncle of Ramielle Murugi, Izrael Wangendo, Abigail Kui, Abrial Njogu (Chairman) and Ivanca Wangui. Family and friends are meeting daily at his parent’s house in Buru Buru Phase One, Bamboo Court, House No 97 (Big Numbers). The cortege leaves Kenyatta National Hospital on Thursday 20th February 2014 at 8.00 am followed by a funeral service at Holy Trinity Catholic Church Buru Buru One at 10.00 am. Burial will take place at Ngundu, Kamulu, Ruai Area. Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his residence in Eastleigh opposite Kibigori. There will be a Fundraising at Karibu Hotel on 18th February, 2014 from 5.00pm. The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on 20th February 2014 at 6.00am for Tagache “B” Village Muhuru Division, Migori County. The burial will take place on Friday 21st February 2014 at his rural home mentioned above.
